Terms of Service / Repair Agreement

 
  • Terms of Service – North Texas IT Department

    By requesting service, you agree to the following terms.

    1. Data Backup
    Customers are responsible for backing up data before service. North Texas IT Department is not responsible for data loss during repair, upgrades, or troubleshooting.

    2. No Guarantee on Data Recovery
    Data recovery services are best-effort only. Recovery is not guaranteed, and charges may apply even if data cannot be recovered.

    3. Estimates
    Estimates are based on visible issues. Additional problems may require approval before continuing.

    4. Payment
    Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Parts must be paid in advance.

    5. Warranty
    We provide a 30-day warranty on labor only. Hardware warranties are through the manufacturer.

    6. Abandoned Equipment
    Devices left over 30 days after notification may incur storage fees.

    7. Remote Support
    By accepting remote support, you consent to screen access for diagnostic and repair purposes.

    8. Limitation of Liability
    Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

    9. Refusal of Service
    We reserve the right to refuse service for unsafe, illegal, or abusive situations.
